Governance

SANE’s Board of Trustees is responsible for the overall governance of the charity.

The Board reviews strategy and operational performance, and approves operating plans and budgets.

Members have no financial interest in the charity. They do not receive any remuneration for their services but are entitled to the reimbursement of reasonable expenses.

The Board delegates the management and administration of the charity to the Chief Executive and the Senior Management Team.

The Chief Executive is responsible for the day-to-day management of the charity’s affairs and for implementing policies agreed by the board. The Chief Executive acts as the company secretary.
