Fundraising Assistant

SANE needs a Fundraising Assistant who ideally has experience of working in a charity fundraising team.  

This is a great opportunity to work in a professional team that manages the full spectrum of fundraising, marketing, website and social media activities.

The successful candidate will provide support to the Community and Events Officer, Senior Business Development Officer and the department Director. 

The Fundraising Assistant is involved with all aspects of handling donations, database management, supporter care and communications. They must ensure SANE’s supporters experience the highest levels of service.

The postholder will contribute ideas and support to fundraising, on/offline
marketing and social media campaigns

This full-time role is an excellent career opportunity for a person who wants to gain experience and develop in the role over time. 

We are interested in hearing from people with an interest in developing a career in fundraising, and an interest in mental health.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to: 

  • Be meticulous and have an attention to detail 
  • Work accurately and efficiently under pressure  
  • Deliver a high standard of work on time 
  • Understand donor care and how to build supporter relationships 
  • Apply organisation, time management and planning skills 
  • Be excellent at team, communication, and social skills
