Re: Big traumas this month - advice appreciated

Hello May1, Welcome to the forum, well done for posting, certainly a very daunting thing to do the first time, when you are (to put it mildly) not feeling at your best. I'm sorry no one has replied to you before now, I also hope what I convey will in some small way be of help. What you appear to hav...

Re: Feeling??

Welcome to the forum, Well done for posting. I'm going to call you SSM (Super, Super Mum!) frankly just keeping up with the washing, let alone providing meals or doing the odd bit of tidying/cleaning whilst dealing with continual teenage angst on your own during the week, let alone some of the other...

Re: Newb here

Hello amy89, Welcome to the forum. I think what you describe is entirely natural about being too scared to open up to family/friends and professionals. Recognising that you would benefit from reaching out for support and then instigating the same are brave and very daunting initial steps. Choosing w...

Re: New here

Welcome to the forum... Really important that you try and reach out for support and have a chat with someone about how you are feeling. You could try SANE (see resources on the website), or a quick search of the internet for other similar MH support organisations. Recommend you try a number of them ...

Re: Wrong time to make a big decision?

Hi Kieran, To be honest I was kind of waiting for someone else to reply to you as it feels just wrong if it tends to be me all the time! So first, a massive congratulations on the birth of your daughter, as this is such a special time for you all. I'm afraid I don't have direct experience of SAD, bu...

Re: Husband with delusional disorder

Some of us don't know how lucky we are!
So sorry to hear what you have been through along with what you continue to endure.

Hoping you have some form of release (what ever it might be) to try and make the most of what life has to offer.

Best Wishes...

Re: Apprehension of Upcoming CMHT Appointment

Hello lildnt, My advice would be to just answer all the assessment questions honestly and openly and see where this takes you. If you want to know the sorts of things that you will be asked a quick search of "CMHT assessment" should reveal all. Sorry the above probably does not help at all...

Re: Mental health and grief struggles

Hello sazswan, Welcome to the forum.... not a place any of us thought we would ever frequent or ever need..... Losing a parent under any circumstances is destabilising, with potentially short and longer term effects. Given what you've said, my suggestion would be to have a chat with any of the well ...
