Get involved

There are lots of ways you can get involved with SANE. Whether it is through taking on a challenge event, volunteering, or leaving a legacy after you’re gone.

Each contribution is equally valuable and valued whether you can spare just an hour or two or you want to leave a lasting legacy. Find out more by exploring below.

One in six of us will be affected by mental illness at some point in our lives.

In the UK, there are up to 10 million people suffering from mental health problems at any one time.

However, the impact of mental illness extends far further than the person who experiences it. Experts estimate six to 10 more people are affected.

SANE improves quality of life for anyone affected by mental illness, including family, friends and carers. We achieve this by providing confidential help, expert information and practical advice.

Anyone can access emotional support at any time of day or night, 365 days a year. SANE relies on voluntary income to fund its work.

Rhasan & Gemma - Bungee Jump

“Grace and I planned a sponsored tandem bungee jump together. It was Grace who suggested we fundraise for SANE, as she had volunteered with you previously. After researching all the amazing things you do for people, she more than had my backing.”
