Make a single or regular donation

Your generous donations help support and sustain people affected by mental illness.

For every £10 we receive, we can answer a call from someone in crisis.


At SANE, we do not receive any government or lottery funding and rely entirely on voluntary donations – your generosity makes all the difference, no matter how small.

Alternatively you can choose to donate from one of the following options:

Text Giving

Text giving is a quick and easy way to support our vital work.

All you need to do is send a text message from your mobile phone to a short code text message number. The donation gets added to your pay monthly bill or taken off your pay as you go credit.

You can choose one of the following options:

  • Text SANE 5 to 70470 to donate £5
  • Text SANE 10 to 70470 to donate £10
  • Text SANE 20 to 70470 to donate £20
  • Text SANE [your amount] to 70470 to donate an amount between £1-20

Alternatively, choose one of the following options to donate £5 and we’ll send you either a SANE pin badge or a SANE wristband to say thank you for your support:

  • Text PINBADGE to 70470 to donate £5 and receive a SANE pin badge
  • Text WRISTBAND to 70470 to donate £5 and receive a SANE wristband

Texts will cost your donation amount plus one standard network rate message.

Please note that text donations can only be made in the UK and not all mobile phone networks support this option.

Bank transfer

Please telephone us on 020 3805 1790 and we’ll provide you with our bank details and your unique supporter number, to help us identify your payment.

Debit/Credit Card

Please telephone us on 020 3805 1790 with your card details and we’ll be able to take your payment over the phone.
