Young SANE

Elizabeth Collier

Elizabeth Lizzy is tackling the stigma surrounding mental health using art. After suffering from Anorexia whilst at university, Lizzy went on to curate an exhibition of contempary art work tackling the issue of mental health in young people, called Hidden Visions. As well as having a successful blog, she also models, plays the harp and is a a passionate vegan cook!

Hidden Visions

Hidden Visions is a group exhibition involving the artwork of 7 young artists from in and around London who have all been affected by mental illness. Lizzy chose the name 'Hidden Visions', as mental illness cannot be seen and is often concealed due to shame or fear caused by prejudices and stereotypes associated with mental health. The exhibition will be on display at Chelsea Gallery inside Chelsea Town Hall from 14-19 April 2015.
