SANE works closely with other organisations, businesses and charities. These relationships form an important part of the overall fabric of our mission. Partnerships help SANE to reach more people through our Services, undertake a wider variety of Research projects, and provide more vital evidence in support of our Campaigns. Collectively these initiatives help to raise awareness and understanding of mental illness, reduce stigma, and highlight the need for improved policy, therapies and better mental health services.
YouthNet UK is the UK's first exclusively online charity, providing guidance and support for young people, enabling them to make educated life choices, participate in society and achieve their ambitions.
Since 2004, SANE has worked in partnership with YouthNet on their askTheSite service, responding to thousands of messages from young people about any concerns they have about their emotional or mental well-being.
Within this partnership SANE works in collaboration with organisations such as Citizens Advice Bureau, Shelter, Addaction, 42nd Street, Samaritans and Brook to ensure that a comprehensive service is provided, covering a wide range of issues that may be of concern to young people.
