Coping with kids

Postby jillyjilly » Tue Feb 19, 2019 3:03 pm

Hi I’m a newbie to this, I have a 10yr old and 4yr old who are constantly arguing it’s literally exhausting, I left them and my husband who is the most supportive human being u can imagine as u needed time out. I’ve come home but still feel emotional and angry, it’s school holidays and being at home with the girls is hard work! Any suggestions on how I can control my emotions and maintain a happy home. Thanks in advance

Hi there!x

Kids can be really tough! At the moment, their anger at each other is a larger problem than your stress and exhaustion. The best way to resolve this is being honest with them. Let them know that their behaviour is wearing you out, and that they need to know that by constantly arguing, they are hurting others around them. Once they realise that their actions have larger consequences, they'll make peace :)

Much love <3
