Zolpidem withdrawal

I take about 15mg of zolpidem a day with 20mg Paroxetine. Here's the problem, I've been buying the zolpidem off the internet and I'm now worried I'm addicted. Does anyone know of an alternative way of seeing a doctor without going to my own GP? I'm in Scotland so there's some differences in the way the NHS works.

I'm OK to see a private GP but aside from the cost, they don't seem interested in taking on cases that need long term support. Does anyone have any thoughts or info on that.

How did you get on with coming off Zolpidem? I'm currently taking 7.5mg a day (also from internet) which I know is not the best but feel at present I could not cope without it. A few years ago during a depressive episode I did the same, and just cut them down day by day, I had no problems. Hope this is the case for you too.
