Can’t manage this on my own.

Postby julier » Thu Feb 01, 2018 9:49 am

So after yet another night full of anxiety attacks and no sleep I finally give in and am waiting in the doctors surgery to see someone. Last time I was like this a doctor said to me “how bad does it have to get before you ask for help”
So here I am sitting waiting amongst sick people hoping for a miracle which I know won’t happen.
My husband is being his usual unhelpful self. I swear he’s on the verge of clearing off. He just seems to think I should just man up. If only.

Hi Julie

Glad you took the first important step. Ask about therapy too. It worked before so will work again.

I have a feeling your husband is part of the problem, like why you got blind drunk in the first place. At least you got your son. You may have to rely on him more for the time being.

Then when you're better, have a long and hard think.

Good luck

Isap x

I’ve been given propranolol to calm me down. Fingers crossed I can function with it.
