hello everyone

i am new to this site, hoping to gain some support aswell and return it.
i suffer with mental health and have done for the past 15 years, struggling at the moment due to changes in my life and family issues.
anyone have advice on good coping mechanisms?
due to breaking my arm, i am limitied on what i can do.

Hi Beigh,

Sorry to hear you are struggling. Unfortunately most of my coping mechanisms involve the use of both arms - hopefully someone else will have some ideas for you :)
Can you ring someone when you are feeling down / anxious? That's what I do and it generally calms me down.

this may sound silly but....buying a pet dog really helps, its proven to help make you feel better mentally
