I met an old guy in my home town a few days ago. He said he had smoked for 50 years while we shared a moment together and smoked a cigarette outside a Post Office. He said keep physically active and eat healthy.
That has completely messed up my plans to quit. I've not taken any lozenges to keep single cigarettes at bay and I keep forgetting to put patches on in the morning.

.Duh.

Hi there

There are worse things than smoking but never give up trying to quit.
It can take many times of trying but it will work.

As a lady of a more mature age I see people my age hooked up to oxygen permanently and my sister is quite disabled with COPD through smoking heavily all her life.. I only hope I get away with smoking heavily for many years.

Never give up. Good luck. Chris

Still not giving up.

This mindfulness is keeping me in doors a little more. Plus sucking on mints could help in the future. Patches and lozenges only took a couple out, but mindfulness may make me wonder why on earth I'm smoking in the first place? Maybe I don't need patches and will see sense!

Keep going but go easy on yourself too. Nicotine is hellava addictive. Keep trying. You will quit when you are ready.
