Is it possible to be successful in a relationship with a mental illness

Postby niqqz » Tue Feb 13, 2018 2:15 pm

Relationship after relationship I find it harder to sustain harder to submit and losing some partners along the way sure didn't help the current relationship I'm in I feel like I just want out and I can't handle the pressures of it. I don't know if I have the ability to love or care a lot of days I'm stick in this "idk how I feel phase" I literally cannot describe the feeling I just know I'm feeling it.

Hi niqqz,

Sorry to hear what you're going through.

To answer the title of this thread, it's definitely possible! It takes a lot more work, as well as external support to help the person or people, but it can be done. Like every person, not every relationship will succeed, mental illness or not - we simply keep searching and do the best we can until things work out :)

Much love <3

Agreed. It can definitely work. I don't have anything more wise to say that what was already said. Support is crucial because without it things fall apart. But it can work so don't give up hope.
