Greasy hair

Postby skyfall95 » Wed Aug 21, 2013 9:55 pm

My hair gets greasy after one day after washing it no matter what shampoo I use. I wash my hair every two days. I was wondering if anyone has this or have had this and what can stop it getting greasy so quickly.

Don't wash it so often: seriously. I have very long hair, haven't washed it for about 6 weeks now and a friend told me the other day that it looked really lovely. Maybe you need to allow your hair to reach a balance and all the washing is actually causing the greasiness xxx

maybe you're being too perfectionist. Try leaving it longer between washes and use something like a baby shampoo so that you're not irritating your scalp. You could also see your doctor: some people have an allergy to a type of yeast that grows on your scalp, in which case you can get a prescription for a shampoo to clear this, xxx

I dont think I am being a perfectionist. Yes I have thought about the baby shampoo I might buy some tomorrow. I might mention it to the Dr I never thought about having an allergies, but I think its probably my hormones.

Hope it works out. I'm off to bed - if I can get Merlyn off the chair. Or maybe I'll just carry him upstairs xxx

He's one of my cats. Just a thought: it might be worth giving all your brushes, combs etc a really good clean and avoiding using styling products as these can build up on your hair and not get cleaned off properly xxx

I think Tresemme shampoo is good for me I feel really confident with this..
Well on the other end I use some natural tips to keep my hairs save for the daily dust and dandruff.. For the strong and black hairs use Dabur amla oil and some yogurt massage on your hairs for 5 to 10 minutes in a week..
Make your step prove yourself..
