I just wanted to say how uplifting I found the first episode of the new series of Doctor Who, I thought it was a real success for a lovely actress taking on the Doctor as an Actor and nailing it. I thought the Tardis team worked really well as well, I was really sad to see a character die that I hoped would be along for the ride.
I thought the story was a little meh! but the new anamorphic cameras made the TV show seem really lush and cinematic. The music was top as well.
Next week is a Sci fi tale on Sunday called 'The Ghost Monument' but the episode Im looking forward to is the 3rd episode called just 'Rosa' which is about the civil rights activism of Rosa Parks. a tricky subject I would think but Im hoping that they get it right and its the triumphant episode a bit like the Vincent Van Gough mental health episode a couple of years back.
Well done Jodie Whittaker and team
