Re: Depressed boyfriend has pushed me away

Great to hear from you Arwen and Sally. I'm also taking time for myself Arwen. I think I've lost a bit of who I am.in the last few years so I'm going to have a relationship with myself for a while!

Great to hear you sounding positive lillie. You are going to be just fine x

Re: Depressed boyfriend has pushed me away

Oh ariane I'm so sorry to read your latest update this morning. Like Lillie you've done so much for him, everyone has their limit though. We are humans and we have needs. You cannot go on indefinitely with a one sided relationship. You just end upblosing yourself in the process. The pushing and pull...

Re: Depressed boyfriend has pushed me away

You sound like you've reached a good place to start healing Lillie. That's good. You've spent so long looking after his needs. Unfortunately yes. Whenever it does I remind myself that she doesn't want to be with me anymore. And that shes with someone else. Like a mantra. The best we can do is heal a...

Re: Depressed boyfriend has pushed me away

Hi Lillie. I agree with Ariane. It's not worth torturing yourself imagining watched up to (something we've all done numerous times I'd imagine) he may just be checking Facebook when bored. He may be reading those terrible clickable articles (you'll.never guess what the cast of friends look like now)...

Re: Depressed boyfriend has pushed me away

Hi, how is everyone doing? I'm starting to feel more disconnected from everything now. The distance and limited contact is working I guess. I'm also starting to realise how long it's been since the break up. Given that more time has now passed than the actual relationship I am starting to feel a lit...

Re: Depressed girlfriend has ended our relationship

I think you need to listen to your gut. It isn't 'normal'. You've had normal break ups right? They aren't like this. You can drift away from someone and that takes a long time. Or blazing row catastrophic break ups. In every sort of break up after reflection you can pub point exactly what went wrong...

True. She may well have read it and doesn't feel able to respond. It doesnt mean it's not been read and appreciated.

Re: Depressed boyfriend has pushed me away

Hey Mr B. She may not respond but she's read it. That's something at least! I'm ok. Just plodding on. She's got some random back and neck pain at the moment (most likely some of the random aches and pains depressed peope are apparently prone to) which is hard as I want to check she's ok etc (id real...

Re: Depressed girlfriend has ended our relationship

You did well not to contact her. That gets easier. Well done! If it isn't depression, if she doesn't miss you and moves on then really...the relationship was not going to work anyway. Or alternatively moving on is what she needed to recover, at which point you need to accept that and be happy she ha...
