Re: Reasonable adjustments at work

Hi there,

If you're able to show why remote working would be more beneficial than working at the office, then they'll be fine with it, within reason :)

Re: Miserable at University

Hi there, Sorry to hear that you're struggling with uni - I know it can get really hard at times! It sounds like you may have symptoms of depression, as well as anxiety. In that space, it's hard to see the way forward, when everything seems like a dead end. But you've worked so hard to get where you...

Re: A Complaint - This forum is not helping reduce my suicidal thoughts

Hi there,

Forums aren't for everyone - there's no solution to mental health that works for absolutely everyone. Perhaps something like talk groups would be more helpful instead?

Re: New and needing help

Hi there, Welcome!x That sounds like a tough situation - there are alternative therapies available, but they aren't proven to be effective yet. Perhaps trying a different type of therapy would help - e.g. counselling instead? Otherwise, I'm not sure what you can do - maybe adding exercise and changi...

Re: Everyday depression

Hi there, Welcome to the forum! Don't worry - it can be nervous starting, but this is a really accepting and open community :) I'd really recommend going to the GP and seeing what support they can provide - it sounds like you're having some mental health issues and need help, especially a counsellor...

Re: Feeling at sea

Hi sammy,

Universities will have some kind of mental health support system in place, although some places may have a cap on how much you can use it because of high demand. Ask a mentor (or similar) to direct you to the team, and talk to them - they are there to help you :)
