Re: How long does depression last?

Hello Em Sorry to see you back here. I know that happens after a person has been feeling well for a while. I can only talk from personal experience and from what I've read. Depression can recur for no apparent reason. It seems like you have moderate depression i.e. feeling yucky but able to function...

Re: Trying to find the courage to get help

Hello there

Easy for me to say this, but you must tell your wife how you are feeling and go to the doctor. A lot of new antidepressants have come out since you were last on them so plenty of choice.

Be strong and brave

Re: Short Term Relief

Hi rsxo Good to see you still involved here Do you still do the 5 Cups of Tea app? I found the concept very good but in practice it didn't work because the "advisers" were mostly young south Asians practising their English without much knowledge if any of mental disorders. But was worth th...

Re: Tight stomach, bad skin, health and general worries

Hello Minnie You are most certainly not alone! I can relate directly to all your worries since they affect me too. The tight stomach is the most common physical anxiety symptom. It's horrible but has no medical significance whatsoever. It's your brain sending signals to your gut (often considered th...

Re: Short Term Relief

Hello again I just wanted to add a couple of observations of my own. We must not forget that there are are thousands, actually millions, suffering with depressions right now. We are not alone As for music, it can help a bit but needs to be different music from what we usually like, which evokes too ...
