Re: First antidepressant prescription

Hi scottishlad32,

I'm glad you've gone to your doctor - you've done the right thing, and it's the first step towards recovery!

I took fluoxetine, and I don't think I had any side effects to my knowledgex

Re: Anorexia recovery

Hi hopeandrecovery, Sorry to hear how you're feeling. I think it's time to hit the reset button. Re: Need help?

Hi michaeltu015, In any governmental position, you are always taught to be impartial, regardless of who is being detained. I know it can be hard to see your brother seemingly do nothing, but the truth is that he is simply doing his job and can't do any more without putting his job at risk for prefer...

Re: Feeling powerless

Hi mel, The best thing you can do is get him to go to the GP for a physical check-up, but call the GP beforehand to let them know that you're worried about his mental health as well - they may be able to discuss it during this time slot. You can't force someone to get support if they don't want to, ...

Re: Depression worse on period?

Hi florence23, I think it's possible that this happens. From memory, oestrogen levels change during your period, and that can impact your serotonin level, which affects your mood. So I think that it'd make sense if your mood changed during your period. Not sure what you can do about it though, sorry...
