Re: Suicidal Because Ugly

I haven't inferred that at all. Your issues are psychological, not psychosomatic.

Re: Back again!

Hi Deb, I'm not too good at the moment. Feeling very low, no energy and no motivation. How are things for you at the moment?

Re: Suicidal Because Ugly

I can't see a single comment in this thread where i've told you to "think happy thoughts" or to "believe in yourself more". I've tried to suggest to you that perhaps you have tunnel vision about this issue and that viewing it from different perspectives might help you to get unst...

You're completely missing the point with all this.

Re: Suicidal Because Ugly

Best case scenario, as smiley has already said, it can help you to identify unhelpful thinking patterns and to see things from different perspectives. At the moment you have tunnel vision about this issue, also known as "black and white thinking" which means that you dismiss anything that ...

Yes, please contact children's social services at your local council. In any situation like this, the wellbeing of the child has to take priority over everything else.

Re: Back again!

Hi maisi, I'm really sorry to hear that something terrible happened for you this week. Thanks for the mental image of the devious squirrel with the apple and I'm glad it gave you a laugh! Also thanks for the reminder to not beat myself up about feeling so low at the moment, I'll try to keep that in ...

Re: Loneliness...

Feeling lonely is really on the increase for me at the moment. Support group not helping with this. Being on here isn't helping with this (and is probably making it worse). Still no joy with finding activities etc that I can go to, because I work full time and everything that appeals to me seems to ...
