SANE superheroes save the day
Added: 24th May 2018

Staff from Britannia Pharmaceuticals raised over £1,600 for SANE!

13 super staff members took part in the Superhero Run on 13th May at Regents Park. They dressed in costume and sped around the track at supersonic speed.

Some took part in the 5km of the park, while the others braved the perilous 10km.

They began their fundraising for SANE in March. With the support and generosity from families and colleagues, they have managed to raise a grand total of £1,615 (so far)!

Britannia Pharmaceuticals made SANE their Charity of the Year in February earlier this year. They have since worked hard to raise funds for us and plan to spread the message of mental health even more!

On the day of the event, there was a real sense of teamwork. Everyone was supportive and enthusiastic and each runner came away holding their medals with pride.

‘It was a joy to be at Regents Park and cheer for all our superhero fundraisers. Their fundraising efforts will be put to very good use. Thanks to them, more people struggling with mental health will be heard and receive personalised care. A huge thanks to all of you.’

Simone Moraes, Community and Events Officer – SANE

We cannot thank our superheroes enough for their super fundraising and super efforts.  We are very grateful for the team’s hard work and we look forward to seeing what more ultra-great fundraising Britannia will carry out for mental health throughout the year.
