Working of the Mental Health Act 2007
Added: 26th Mar 2010

SANE invites you to participate in a Mental Health Alliance survey on the Mental Health Act.

The Mental Health Alliance, a coalition of organisations of which we are a member, is working to assess the impact of the Mental Health Act 2007 and to challenge any negative effects of the changes it introduced.

The Alliance is keen to hear from people who are or have been detained under the Act (sectioned), friends and relatives, mental health professionals, advocates, and anyone else who is in touch with how the Act is working in practice.

If you would like to contribute, please do so by completing this brief survey on Mind's website - "Mental Health Act. How are the changes affecting you?"

The responses will be used to influence policy, practice and the next Government's agenda. The online survey will be live until mid April.
