SANE’s Services provide emotional support, information and guidance to those affected by mental illness. Our vision is of a time when no individual or family has to face the distress or isolation that results from coping with mental illness alone.

The first point of contact with SANE’s services is SANEline. SANEline is the only national, specialist mental health helpline, available out of hours, 365 days a year. For those callers with more complex needs SANE offers a range of emotional support services.

Our helpline is delivered by volunteers. Our volunteers are trained, developed and supported by an expert team of mental health professionals.

If you are an experienced mental health professional with management experience who is looking for a new and exciting opportunity, leading a strong and committed team, which is completely focused on providing an excellent emotional support service, this could be the role for you.

We are looking for a warm, empathetic, individual with excellent team leadership and management skills, a good understanding of mental health issues and the mental health landscape and a strong track record of effective quality assurance and service delivery.

If you want to be part of an organisation which provides over 10,000 hours of one to one emotional support a year, across a number of channels, and is expanding its offer, why not contact Leigh Wallbank, Head of Services, for an informal discussion about the role or for an application pack.
