Suicide PreventionWelcome to our New Focus for Suicide Prevention research project, funded by a grant from the BIG Lottery Research Programme.
This project runs alongside the Experience of Suicidal Feelings study.
SANE believes that the people who stand the most chance of preventing suicides are ordinary people; the friends, colleagues, neighbours and family members of those whose lives are at risk.
We will be talking to people who have lost a close friend or relative through suicide, and to people who have attempted suicide themselves, their close friends and relatives.
Learn more about the project by clicking on the links above. Alternatively, download an information leaflet.
This project is funded by a grant from the BIG Lottery Research Programme.
BIG’s Research programme funds high quality social, medical or socio-medical research led by voluntary and community sector (VCS) organisations in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. It aims to influence local and national policy and practice by funding VCS organisations to produce and disseminate evidence-based knowledge.
