Peak District Challenge

When: Friday, 20th to Saturday, 21st September 2019

Where: Peak District

The Peak District Challenge is a picturesque trekking challenge that offers five levels of difficulty for hill walkers and runners: 10km (Back before Dark); 25km (Copper); 50km (Bronze); 75km (Silver); or 100km (Gold Ultra). It's organised by Wilderness Development, an established outdoor activity company based in the Peak District.

The Back Before Dark 10k is the only clockwise loop, following the pink line.

The Copper Challenge follows the red lines anticlockwise from Hathersage to Baslow and back.

The Bronze Challenge follows the bronze route to Castleton then Baslow and back.

The Silver Challenge takes the silver route, covering large distances over relatively less hilly terrain.

The Gold Ultra Challenge follows mainly the outermost route, following the yellow line between checkpoints. It's the longest and steepest route.
