When: Sunday, 29th September 2019

Where: London City

Distance: 12 miles

Registration fee: £10

Fundraising target: £150

Join Team SANE at the Regatta London on the River Thames on Sunday 29th September for an unforgetable day of adventures whilst marvelling at this iconic city through it's river bank.

Bring your kayak, canoe or paddle board and journey 12 miles from Putney to Greenwich as you take on the London Crossing. The Thames Barrier will be closed during this event making this experience unique and a must do on your backet list.

SANE is offering 2 individual places for a K1 (one person kayak) and 2 places for  K2 (two person kayak), or C2 (two person canoe) and 3 new places for paddle board. To allow the river to re-open, strict cut-off times will be in place. All paddlers need to ensure they have trained sufficiently to meet these cut off times.

The route map can be seen here.

Due to phenomenal demand, general public entry is sold out for the London Crossing, so secure your place by emailing: fundraising@sane.org.uk. Slots for The London Crossing are limited and will be on a first-come first-serve basis.

Please note the participants will be required to provide their own equipment. For information on where to hire visit the Regatta London FAQs. For the equipment list is here

If you have any more questions please email fundraising@sane.org.uk or see the Regatta London FAQs on the link above.
