Fundraise

SANE_fundraisers_at_top_of_mountainDo It Yourself

The spirit of fundraising really lives in the heart of our inspirational supporters; especially those who have the passion and energy to organise their own events and activities. This is real DIY and far more rewarding!

Whether it's cycling to France (and back), walking up a windswept mountain, or simply holding a car boot sale. All are wonderful ways to raise vital funds, increase awareness of SANE and why mental health matters.

DIY is a wonderful way to meet new people who share your desire to help others. Also, you can have lots of fun and adventures along the way.

Rory_BremnerBBC Radio 4 Appeal

In July 2010 SANE was chosen as a beneficiary of the BBC Radio 4 Appeal. We were thrilled when Rory Bremner agreed to give up his free time and donate his expertise to make the appeal on our behalf.

"Whenever another tragedy involving mental illness hits the headlines, I know that SANE will be out there, putting it into context, raising people's awareness of the issues and explaining the importance of their work for all those involved."

With Rory's help, the appeal generated over £8,000.

Shoreditch_rotary_club_fundraisingCharity Golf Day

In March 2010, Eugen Buck, former President of The Rotary Club of the City and Shoreditch, and his wife Gabbi, organised a charity golf day in aid of SANE.

The golf day was a great success, and along with a raffle and dinner the event helped to raise £3,200 for SANE.
