SANE is excited to be partnering with commercial property consultant Ryden to roll out the Black Dog Campaign in Scotland, and provide a focal point for raising mental health awareness among its staff and stakeholders.
Everyone connected with the firm will be participating in lots of fundraising activities (directly or indirectly). They've already got off to a flying start thanks to the initiative and super-human efforts of Partner David Fraser who took part in the Ironman Wales Triathlon: A short dip in the sea of 2.2 miles, a quick spin on the bike of 112 miles followed by a gentle 26 mile jog - what an amazing feat!
The Ryden office in Edinburgh recognised World Mental Health Day - 10 October 2012 - by holding a dress-down fundraising day. All the money raised will go towards SANE's frontline mental health services, and a dedicated Black Dog statue that will help to make it more widely known across Scotland that SANE provides free, confidential emotional support to anyone affected by mental illness (including family, friends, colleagues and carers).
