SANE is delighted to be Roche UK's current charity partner.

With many Roche people feeling passionate about supporting mental health, fundraising is underway with recent activity including cycle rides from Burgess Hill to Paris and London to Brighton, a 5km run and a Christmas craft fair. Upcoming events include abseils at the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth, workshops hosted by one of SANE’s ambassadors Rachel Kelly, and an art exhibition.

Elvis, one of SANE’s Black Dog statues, is also due to visit one of the Roche offices during Mental Health Awareness Week in May 2018.

The money raised will contribute towards funding SANE’s services, which include SANEline, the only specialist national mental health helpline in the UK open out-of-hours, 365 days a year; Textcare, offering personalised messages to help support and connect people at times when they may feel particularly isolated or vulnerable; and the Support Forum, an online community providing mutual peer-to-peer support.

'Roche is clearly interested in health, and we are particularly pleased that their 2,000 people have chosen mental health as their focus and are delighted to be working with them.”

Roche commented: "Having a mentally healthy workplace is key for us at Roche which is why we prioritise mental health at work and invest in many measures that promote wellbeing at work.  Consequently, we are delighted our people chose to support SANE as their charity partnership and have already seen many fundraising initiatives taking place at both of our sites in the UK: Welwyn Garden City and Burgess Hill.'
