Fighting for recovery

Iím fighting for recovery. I fighting for my recovery, Iím fighting to see your recovery.
I've been suffering with depression for 5 years now. It's included 4 suicide attempts, slef-harm and a diagnoses of Bipolar. After being diagnosed it felt like closure. It was like I finally had a reason for the way I was feeling. It didn't make everything better, but it made me understand.

I strongly believe that the only person who can truly help you overcome your depression is you. I feel that its one of the key ingredients to recovery, but it's also the hardest to achieve. Although, feeling the way you do, you wont want to help yourself. Helping yourself is the least thing on your mind, but if for just a second you can think. I'm going to set myself a goal. You're doing it, you're on the road to recovery. It may be a slow one, and there will be bumps along the way. But there is a sun in your sky of clouds; everything will and can be better. And you will make it. Remember that you're a beautiful and loved member of society and you can do whatever you want to do with your life. You just have to believe in yourself.

For me, I believe in what I'm telling people, but I don't believe I can do it myself. I guess I have to start believing in myself in order to achieve what it is I believe in. We can do it together. We can achieve great things if we work together. No matter who you are, if you want someone to talk too. I'll be here, rain or shine. We'll get through this together

Love and Light
