I remember when I noticed the difference between someone, and I am definitely guilty of this, saying as a fly away comment hi how are you? And then immediately going into autopilot before the poor person could answer oh good thats great anyway....... and being asked hi how are you? And that person really wanting to take the time and care to know how I really am. It was so kind and so touching I just wanted to start blubbing and say thank you. Thank you so much for caring enough for me that you are genuinely interested in how I am, how Im feeling and what Im thinking.

Im really guilty of not being a good listener. This is something I am going to work on because I now know how much it means, supports and feels when a person wants to listen. Ive learned that something as simple as just listening can be such a great support. So for this week I am going to start to focus on becoming a much better listener.

So, how are you?

I hope you are well, your loved ones are well and you are all keeping safe
