Building Resilience

So I have come such a long way over the last 16 years when I was diagnosed in 2003 with Bipolar and to say it has been a rocky road is an understatement however I am here to tell the tale. I have done this and written a book to help and educate others about what it is like living with Bipolar and how I managed to get diagnosed.
I have had many episodes over the last 16 years but have managed to build resilience and coping mechanisms in order to deal with my condition.
My Book ' Life as a rollercoaster' gives an open and honest account of all the challenges I have faced along with how I came out the other side and also gives my family, friends and ex-managers perspective on my condition.
A percentage of my sales are donated to SANE charity who are an amazing charity and help and offer support to vulnerable people.

It is so important to realise that you CAN and WILL get through this, with the help of others and support from organisations like Sane.

My book is available on Amazon and I know it has helped people already gain a great understanding of Bipolar.

My mission in life is to reduce the stigma and discrimination that we face and educate and help people understand Mental Health. We are not aliens we are human and all face challenges in our life and cope with it differently. It's good to talk and spread the word then you will realise that you are not alone ..

Keep smiling and know that help is out there ...
