Well, it’s February and that means many people are thinking about their loved ones because of Valentine’s Day. However, in order to have a happy, healthy relationship sometimes you have to love yourself through good old-fashioned self-care.

Here are some tips to get started.

  1. Keep your appointments. I know that this can be hard to do if you feel down or just dislike going, but remember that having good overall health (both physically and mentally) is important.
  2. Drink more water. For me water is not my favorite drink, so I try to motivate myself to drink more by remembering the benefits, such as weight loss, and the extra amount of energy that you can get when you drink enough of it.
