“Things I’m not doing in 2019 (In terms of mental health)” by Amanda

This year I am going to improve my mental health by not allowing my emotions control my eating. In late 2015, I checked myself into out patient therapy for anxiety, depression, a and body image disorder, which included emotional eating. I learned coping strategies including portion control. This year I am going to continue my recovery.

I will not let negative energy or negative opinions about what others say about me affect me. My grandpa is helping me with this lesson by pointing out when I am doing this.

Lastly, I am not going to let stress, which includes procrastination, get a hold of me. I am going to set small goals and tasks that I can get done on time.
