As I have an exam coming up, I find myself becoming mildly anxious about my future. This taught me that one environmental stressor can act as a trigger to a cascade of other issues. Meditation and regular exercise has helped me keep this under control and demonstrated the need for holism when trying to improve health. Constant engagement in these activities is my attempt to demonstrate my perseverance to eliminate all the negative effects stress brings to me. I have to say that simple positive changes do have a long-lasting effect on mental health for me.
