The Black Cloud

The Black Cloud:

All you can see is an insignificant grey stain where once there burst a cacophony of colour.

A single flat note plays in a long monotonous stride, where once an orchestra stomped up and down.

A lonely meaningless drop lingers where a fountain used to bubble and nourish.

All that is left is an old faded page where once words formed a fast and furious page turner.

A deep dark chasm is all that remains where once a luscious mountain proudly stood.

A small shrivelled leaf shelters where once blossomed an Eden of nature.

What happened?
Where did it all go?

The black cloud is hiding it from my sight....
