I'm in the park surrounded by couples,
Yet I'm alone,
Everyone is laughing,
Yet I'm crying,
The sun is shining,
Yet I'm in the rain,
They all have rolled umbrellas,
Yet I have no cover,
They look at one another,
Yet none look at me.

Then an angel steps out from the crowd,
And gives me shelter from the cloud,
Then she takes me by the hand,
And helps me step to drier land,
And in her arms she gently holds,
Till deep inside I feel no cold,
Then I look back and see a cloud,
And one lost soul amidst a crowd,
And I know then what I must do,
And perhaps you'll see,
That YOU can too !
