The sessions I had with a CBT therapist helped me to expand my awareness, perceptions, experiences and respect for both myself and for others. Much of my past experiences of therapeutic input had focused on me. I feel the cbt therapist offered a completely new approach which both encouraged and supported me in looking beyond my own self loathing and hopelessness.

It's true I keep falling back into holes, and in those moments I feel like I will be there forever. But I keep in mind the skills that I have learnrt, over many many many years. And it's a bit of a scramble, but I do keep managing to get out.
