This Christmas Darren Jones and Laura Villarroel from Bournemouth won't be at home enjoying a traditional Christmas. They are going to be driving 4000 miles from Plymouth to Banjul in The Gambia, starting on Wednesday, 19th December 2007, to help raise money for SANE - in a £155 Skoda!

Great North Run

The Great North Run is the world's most popular half marathon road running event. Participants run between Newcastle upon Tyne and South Shields. This years run took place on Sunday 30th September 2007. Hazel Ord, a SANE supporter, took part in this years run and very kindly chose SANE as her beneficiary charity.

Run for Your Sanity is a five hour team endurance event organised to raise money and awareness for mental illness. It took place on Sunday, 7 October 2007 at the Battersea Park, Millennium Arena Athletics Track.
