Sahara Trek
How far would YOU go to help someone affected by mental illness?
Following the success of the Peru Trek 2006, SANE is now offering you the chance to join us in Morocco and take part in a fantastic trek through the Sahara.
The trip will take place from the 29th February 2008 to 9th March 2008. As well as the 5-day trek in the beautiful northern region of the Sahara desert, post trek there will also be plenty of free time to explore the vibrant and bustling city of Marrakesh.
As well as being a fantastic opportunity to take part in a unique trip, the trek will help to raise the much-needed funds to enable SANE to continue to support the thousands of people that call SANEline each year. It costs £299 to register to take part in the trip and then we ask you to raise an additional £2000. This fundraising target may seem high but with a bit of effort, time and support from the fundraising team it is definitely an obtainable target! For each participant that takes part in the fundraising trek £1,200 will go directly to the work of SANE.
