Fundraising in your community

Raising money in you community is a great way to bring people together and have loads of fun whilst supporting SANE and helping to raise awareness of mental health issues.

There are many ways you can help to support the work we do to improve the lives of those affected by mental illness. Whether its through your school, university, faith group, through a club or social group to which you belong, whether you want to fundraise on your own or with friends, SANE has loads of idea in our fundraising pack.

You can download our fundraising pack here or to receive a pack in the post email fundraising@sane.co.uk or call us on 020 7422 5544.

The fundraising team is here to support all your fundraising efforts so please feel free to give us a call and we will do our best to help.

Are you interested in joining SANE’s fundraising action group?

We are looking for individuals who are keen to get more involved and meet with other SANE fundraising volunteers in a relaxed informal setting. The fundraising action group will discuss fundraising ideas, advise SANE’s fundraising team on what sort of events our supporters would like to see and will set up fundraising events together.

Please call SANE Corporate, Community and Events Fundraising Manager, Jenny Wayte on 020 7422 5551 or email her at jwayte@sane.org.uk for more information on how to get involved

Adopt SANE as your department or faculty charity and organize events to raise funds and awareness about mental illness. Fundraising events can vary greatly in terms of resources and time, but they are a great way to meet new people, fill those 'between' lecture hours/days/weeks and raise awareness about issues such as depression, eating disorders and self harm.
