Service User Group

SANE believes those who benefit from the charity should be able to influence and inform decisions made by the charity. So SUG has been set up to ensure the work of SANE continues to reflect the views of and make a positive difference to anyone affected by mental illness including carers, friends and relatives. The use of the term service user refers to past, current or potential users of SANEline.

The Group was set up in March 2007 and so far members have been involved with the following issues:

• Refreshing the ethos of SANEline
• Influencing the design of new SANEline publicity material
• Research and campaigning leads
