The Legal Services Commission (LSC) runs the legal aid scheme in England and Wales. We work in partnership with solicitors and not-for-profit organisations to provide information, advice and legal representation to people in need.
The Disability Rights Commission (DRC) is an independent body established in April 2000 by Act of Parliament to stop discrimination and promote equality of opportunity for disabled people. We have set ourselves the goal of "a society where all disabled people can participate fully as equal citizens". The DRC works with disabled people, employers and service providers to find practical solutions for everyone.
